Child safety standards
Anor is built for adults aged 18 and older. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any conduct that exploits, endangers, or sexualises minors on the platform.
Age requirement
Anor is restricted to users 18 years of age or older. We do not permit users under 18 to create accounts or use the service. Anyone we identify as being under 18 will have their account removed and their content deleted, regardless of how that identification is made (self-disclosure, report, moderator review).
Prohibited content and conduct
The following are categorically prohibited on Anor:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including photographs, videos, drawings, computer-generated imagery, and text depicting minors in sexualised contexts.
- Grooming behaviour — building inappropriate emotional or sexual relationships with users believed to be under 18.
- Sexual or sexualised communication directed at users believed to be minors.
- Solicitation, distribution, or trafficking of CSAM through Anor's messaging, profiles, or any other surface.
- Posing as a minor, attempting to access or contact users believed to be minors, or attempting to verify a user's minority status for any purpose other than reporting.
How we prevent and detect
- 18+ age gate at signup. Users must affirm they are 18 or older to create an account.
- In-app reporting. Every user profile and message thread includes a Report function with a dedicated "Child safety" category, used to flag users who appear to be under 18 or any content involving a minor.
- Moderation review. Reports involving child safety are prioritised and reviewed within 24 hours. Suspected accounts are suspended immediately pending review.
- Account termination. Accounts confirmed to be operated by minors, or used for any of the prohibited conduct above, are terminated permanently. Their content is deleted and the underlying device/account identifiers are recorded to prevent re-registration.
- Cooperation with authorities. Anor cooperates fully with lawful requests from law enforcement investigating child safety matters, and preserves relevant content and records when required.
How to report
If you encounter content or conduct on Anor that you believe involves a minor or violates these standards:
- In-app: Tap the report icon on the profile or message thread, select "Child safety," and submit.
- By email: [email protected] — please include the username, a description of what you observed, and any relevant context.
- For suspected CSAM, you can also report directly to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org , or to your country's equivalent reporting body.
Reports made to Anor are reviewed by Anor's moderation team. Reports involving suspected CSAM are escalated to NCMEC and to relevant law enforcement as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and equivalent obligations in other jurisdictions.
Designated point of contact
The designated point of contact for child safety inquiries from regulators, law enforcement, NCMEC, and other authorities is:
Routine user reports should go through the in-app reporting flow or [email protected]. The safety@ address is reserved for the designated contact function and is monitored by the founder directly.
Compliance
Anor is operated from the United States and complies with applicable U.S. federal law regarding CSAM detection, reporting, and preservation, including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. We also commit to cooperating with applicable foreign laws and authorities for users outside the U.S. to the extent legally required.
